Terms of Service — LeaseScore

1. Agreement

By using LeaseScore (the "Service") at leasescore.co you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What LeaseScore is — and is not

LeaseScore is a software tool that uses AI to highlight potential issues in Ontario residential lease agreements. LeaseScore is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Output is informational only. For legal advice about your lease, consult a licensed Ontario lawyer or paralegal, or contact the Landlord and Tenant Board.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of lease documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to deliver the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload any document you submit.

5. Payments

The LeaseScore Full Protection Report is a one-time purchase of CAD $39, processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes unless stated. Because the report is delivered digitally and immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

Do not upload documents you don't have the right to share.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
Do not use the Service to harass, defame, or violate anyone's rights.

7. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Ontario landlord-tenant law changes, and individual circumstances matter. Always verify findings before acting on them.

8. Warranties & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason, including suspected misuse. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
