1. Who we are

LeaseScore ("we", "us") provides an AI-assisted analysis tool for Ontario residential leases, available at leasescore.co. We are based in Ontario, Canada.

2. What we collect

  • Lease documents you upload (PDFs) and the text extracted from them.
  • Analysis results generated by our AI models.
  • Payment information processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs for security and reliability.

3. How we use your data

We use uploaded leases solely to generate your LeaseScore report and to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell your data. We do not use your lease content to train third-party AI models.

4. Service providers

We share limited data with vendors who help us run the service, including:

  • Supabase (database, storage, authentication)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • AI model providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) via the Lovable AI Gateway, used to analyze lease text

These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, under their own privacy commitments.

5. Retention

Lease files and analysis results are retained only as long as needed to deliver your report and provide support. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Your rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Security

Uploads are gated by per-document access tokens stored in your browser. Server-side data is protected via row-level security and encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure — use the service at your own risk.

8. Children

LeaseScore is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
